Weil-McLain Canada stocks up prior to federal residential boiler efficiency standard changes

Weil-McLain Canada is phasing out its well-known mid-efficiency CGi and CGa hot water boilers in response to the federal government’s new efficiency standards. These standards place a production cut-off date (not a sale or installation date) of Jun. 30, 2023, on non-condensing gas-fired residential boilers under 300,000 BTUH.
Contractors can continue to purchase and install CGi and CGa boilers after Jun. 30, and parts will be available for at least 20+ years. Weil-McLain is building up its inventory of CGi and CGa boilers prior to the cut-off date: contractors should place orders as soon as possible through their local wholesaler or Weil-McLain Canada sales rep; CGi and CGa boilers will be available only while supplies last.
For more information about efficiency changes, contractors can contact Weil-McLain Canada.
